⚠️ Important Note: Your statutory warranty rights (1 year from receipt of goods) against us as the seller remain completely unaffected by this voluntary manufacturer's guarantee and are available to you free of charge to their full extent.
Every new COSWHEEL e-bike sold through COSWHEEL E-bikes comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty for the original private first buyer, subject to the conditions below.
A valid proof of purchase and, if required, proof of product registration are necessary to claim the warranty.
- Scope of Warranty
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal use and proper maintenance. It serves to protect against problems resulting from manufacturing or design flaws.
Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use is not covered by this warranty.
COSWHEEL provides a warranty to the original private first buyer of the e-bike under the terms, limitations, and exclusions specified in this document.
Under normal use and proper maintenance, the e-bike’s frame, mechanical components, and electrical components are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
Mechanical components include, but are not limited to:
Wheelset, stem, bolts and nuts, brake levers, front suspension, crankset, cassette, derailleur, front reflector, rear reflector, and brake disc.
Electrical components include, but are not limited to:
Display, motor, controller, and speed sensor.
The battery is also covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper service for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery.
This limited warranty covers defects that were present at the time of delivery and includes the battery, motor, controller, display, and sensors.
As with any rechargeable battery, the capacity of the COSWHEEL battery will decrease over time due to charging and discharging cycles. COSWHEEL guarantees that the battery will maintain at least 80% of its capacity for a minimum of one (1) year under normal use and proper maintenance.
Damage caused by overvoltage, the use of an unsuitable charger, water damage, improper maintenance, misuse, improper use, or natural wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.
This warranty applies exclusively to the original first buyer and is non-transferable. Further claims, especially compensation for loss of use, consequential damages, or other losses, are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
An additional warranty or replacement service does not extend the original warranty period.
As some components are subject to higher wear or can be more easily damaged, warranty periods may differ depending on the component. Please refer to the respective warranty table or product-specific information for details.

The buyer must send the e-bike or the affected component to an address specified by COSWHEEL, if applicable.
If the defective part is covered by the limited manufacturer's warranty, COSWHEEL will repair or replace the part at its discretion, free of charge. During the statutory warranty period or the period for claims regarding product quality, the manufacturer will cover all costs for round-trip shipping and inspection and will provide the consumer directly with a pre-paid return label.
If the defective part is not covered by the limited manufacturer's warranty, the buyer bears the costs of repair, replacement parts, and shipping.

The e-bike has been used according to its intended purpose. The information on the respective product page, in the operating instructions, and in the safety notices is decisive.

The e-bike is used for purposes other than the appropriate and intended use of the respective model.
Electrical components are repaired, altered, or tampered with by unauthorized persons.
This warranty is a consumer warranty and does not apply to products used commercially, for rental, sharing operations, or other commercial purposes.
- Wear Parts and Normal Wear and Tear
Certain components of your COSWHEEL e-bike are subject to natural wear due to their function. The extent of wear depends on various factors, including care, maintenance, intensity of use, mileage, climate, road conditions, and storage.
E-bikes frequently left outdoors may experience accelerated wear due to weather conditions.
For safety reasons, wear parts must be replaced as soon as they reach their wear limit.
These parts include, but are not limited to:
Drive chain or belt, brake cables, brake pads, brake discs, rubber grips, sprockets, cogs, pulleys, gear shift cables, tires, saddle cover, rims, and bearings in the headset, hubs, and bottom bracket.
The condition of brake pads and brake discs should be checked regularly. These parts are subject to natural wear and tear due to their function and must be replaced as needed.
Environmental conditions can additionally accelerate the wear of these parts. Therefore, they should be cleaned and maintained regularly.
Replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear is not covered by this limited manufacturer's warranty.
If parts need to be replaced due to wear or other issues, please first contact COSWHEEL or the responsible dealer and follow the corresponding instructions regarding shipping, disassembly, and service.
Failure to comply with assembly specifications, maintenance requirements, or inspection intervals may result in the loss of warranty claims.

The consumer's statutory rights, particularly statutory warranty rights, remain unaffected by this warranty.

Statements in assembly instructions, product information, advertising materials, or presentations do not constitute an additional warranty unless they are explicitly designated as a warranty statement.
No agent, employee, dealer, reseller, or other third party is authorized to modify or extend this limited manufacturer's warranty or to make binding promises that go beyond these warranty conditions.
Changes or waivers regarding these warranty conditions are only effective if confirmed in writing by COSWHEEL.
